How to Find Your Clash of Clans or Clash Royale Player Tag

Copy the hash from Clash of Clans or Clash Royale, then paste it into a Gamer Dashboard search. This page is numbered steps and FAQs — not a replay of the game hub essays.

Look up a tag on Gamer Dashboard

  1. Open the homepage and choose Clash of Clans or Clash Royale, or go straight to a hub: Clash of Clans stats or Clash Royale stats.
  2. Paste the player tag into the player box. After submit, the URL looks like /clash-of-clans/YOURTAG or /clash-royale/YOURTAG (no # in the path).
  3. For a clan, use the clan box instead. CoC opens /clash-of-clans/clan/YOURTAG. Royale opens /clash-royale/clan/YOURTAG. Clash Royale also has a clan name search if you do not have the clan hash yet.

Clash of Clans — copy your player tag

  1. Open Clash of Clans and wait until your village loads.
  2. Tap your name or XP badge at the top-left to open your profile.
  3. Copy the tag under your name (it starts with #). Use the in-game copy control if you see one.
  4. Return here and paste it on the Clash of Clans hub or the homepage.

Clan tag: open the clan from the clan castle or clan chat, then copy the hash on the clan profile — it is not your player tag.

Clash Royale — copy your player tag

  1. Open Clash Royale and wait on the main screen.
  2. Tap your name or avatar to open your profile.
  3. Copy the tag shown under your name. Prefer the copy button over typing from a screenshot (O vs 0 mix-ups are common).
  4. Paste it on the Clash Royale hub or the homepage.

Clan tag: open your clan, then copy the clan hash from the clan profile. Members change; the clan tag usually does not.

FAQ

What is a Supercell player tag?
A player tag is a short public ID that starts with a hash, for example #2L8JC0VPY. Clash of Clans and Clash Royale both use this format. Gamer Dashboard looks up official API stats by that tag — we do not search by display name.
Do I need to include the # when I paste my tag?
No. You can paste the tag with or without the leading hash. Homepage search and the game hubs normalize the string the same way before opening the profile URL.
What is the difference between a player tag and a clan tag?
They are independent hashes. Your player tag stays with your account. A clan tag belongs to the clan and stays the same when members join or leave. Looking up a player uses /clash-of-clans/YOURTAG or /clash-royale/YOURTAG; clan lookup uses the /clan/ segment in the path.
Why did my tag lookup fail?
The most common causes are typing O instead of 0, mixing up similar letters, or copying a cropped screenshot. Use the in-game copy control when it is available. Invalid characters are rejected; a tag that does not exist returns not found rather than another player's profile.
Can I browse every player without a tag?
No. There is no public directory of every account. Lookup is on-demand by tag from the homepage or a game hub, which matches how the official APIs work. We do not publish a mass sitemap of player or clan tags.
